The user can also add new units and categories, according to the specific requirements of his own industry. A particular industry may have different unit names, abbreviation or even equivalencies between units. Therefore it is important that the user can add his own set of units and categories.
• Intuitive and user-friendly. The application is provided with quick filters so that a unit can be found immediately, without having to read long lists of units.
• Free. Can be downloaded and used completely free, without limit of time or features.

• Lightweight application. Installation is not required. To start the program just:
  • Unzip the file HI_Converter.zip in any location of your computer (important: do not work directly with the .zip file)
  • Execute the file HI_Converter.exe.

In order to search for a unit, the user only have to type partially the unit name or part of the abbreviation. The units that match will be shown immediately and you will only have to select with the mouse the one you are interested in. The equivalencies will be listed on the right. This simple operation saves a lot of time in comparison with other applications that require navigation through categories and long lists.
